{"id":18860,"date":"2016-02-16T09:00:11","date_gmt":"2016-02-16T07:00:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=18860"},"modified":"2016-02-16T09:00:11","modified_gmt":"2016-02-16T07:00:11","slug":"lls-gateway-mall-occupation-at-65-percent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/02\/16\/lls-gateway-mall-occupation-at-65-percent\/","title":{"rendered":"LL&#8217;s Gateway Mall occupation at 65 percent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Malawi Property Investment Company (MPICO) says rental occupation of its recently opened Gateway Shopping Mall in Lilongwe is at 65 percent, describing it as a positive response to the property development.<\/p>\n<p>This was disclosed during a valentine special event the company hosted at the mall on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Gateway Shopping Mall marketing and business promotions manager, Ellen Nyasulu, said the mall will start hosting several events with intent to make customers have special experience.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are creating a unique shopping experience at this shopping mall,\u201d said Nyasulu.<\/p>\n<p>She said the mall is moving towards becoming a one stop center as new facilities such as a casino and bars will be added to the facility soon.<\/p>\n<p>The valentine\u2019s event saw customers winning various prizes for shopping on valentine\u2019s day.<\/p>\n<p>Nyasulu said for future events, the mall will bring more activities such as dances, games and competitions.<\/p>\n<p>Malawi\u2019s largest shopping mall cost MPICO about R400 million to construct and opened its doors to customers last year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Malawi Property Investment Company (MPICO) says rental occupation of its recently opened Gateway Shopping Mall in Lilongwe is at 65 percent, describing it as a positive response to the property development.
