After closing shop at Mibawa Cafe in Blantyre last year and then moving to Chigumula, Mibawa has finally opened an Executive Bar.<\/p>\n
Mibawa proprietor John Nthakomwa said on Friday that they are making progress on developing the Mibawa One Stop centre and that they opened the Executive Bar in November.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe opened the Executive Bar in November but we didn\u2019t want to make too much noise since we are still developing but then this place is functioning now and we have different packages,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Nthakomwa said this is a bar which has a decent set up and that it is normally targeting senior corporate executives.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have different activities taking place in the bar for instance we have jazz music every Sundays and then we also have acoustic performances and we also have karaoke so there is more,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Nthakomwa also revealed that they will be opening a multipourpose hall which is separate from the executive bar and the other areas.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs Mibawa we are taking strides to continue providing entertainment to the people and we are looking forward to the best and we are targeting quality and as for a multipurpose hall, it should be finished by March. It is a hall that can take up to 500 people,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The Mibawa boss said unlike at Mibawa Cafe where the bar was more of a performance area, this one is separate because they want the hall to be used for different activities among them gospel shows and weddings.<\/p>\n
Nthakomwa said apart from the Mibawa Studios they are also producing content for television and that they are looking forward to bring more to the people in 2016.<\/p>\n
