No Pain No Gain Boxing Promotions has urged boxers to sign contracts with local stables for easy management of their career.<\/p>\n
The stable\u2019s managing director, Craig Rousseau, said this after roping in promising youngster from Mchinji Emmanuel Chimanja and well known Malawi Defence Force lightweight boxer Chrispin Moliyati.<\/p>\n
\u201cOf course we have signed Chimanja because the youngster has bright future. We have taken him on board to easily manage his career. We will also be managing Chrispin Moliyati,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Rousseau said it was easy to work with boxers that fight under a specific stable rather than individuals without camps.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is what every boxer needs to advance in ones career. A boxer must fight under a stable for easy management. The stable can offer him advice on which fights to accept at a particular time,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Rousseau said fighting under a specific stable helps boxers not to be exploited.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is a tendency from some quarters who want to exploit boxers who fight without any management team. They tend to underpay boxers which can\u2019t happen if a boxer is signed under a certain stable,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Rousseau said No Pain No Gain Boxing Promotions will continue signing promising boxers to protect their future.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think we have an obligation to safeguard their career. This is why we are trying to sign every promising boxer in the country,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Rousseau said through his international partner Delta Force Boxing Academy of Zimbabwe, the Malawian stable has signed three Zimbabwean boxers.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis happens elsewhere because the sport is exciting when you diverse,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the stable has nine boxers under its management including Wilson Masamba, Charles Mi sanjo, Kudakwashe Mwadziwana, Nicola Mtoyora, Tinashe Mwadziwana, Limbani Masamba and Anisha Basheer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
