Be Forward Wanderers have become the first team to get active on the transfer market after agreeing personal terms with Wizards FC duo Rafiq Namwera and Ernest Tambe.<\/p>\n
The two players have agreed to join the Nomads on threeyear deals, but the transfers will be completed after the transfer window opens tomorrow.<\/p>\n
However, Wizards and Wanderers have agreed a deal for both players at an undisclosed fee.<\/p>\n
Wanderers general secretary Mike Butao said the two signings will help in solving their creativity problems which they observed in the 2015 season where they finished fourth in the League and won the Carlsberg Cup.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe had to be swift to get them on board. We know that other teams are equally interested in the two. They have signed pre-contracts and we will seal the deals on Thursday once the transfer window opens. They will bring creativity in midfield. We also believe that we should have at least two players in each position to increase competition,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Butao said following the arrival of the two Wizards players, the 2015 Carlsberg Cup champions will also sign three more players.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe two underline our intent to dominate on the domestic scene next season. We will sign two or three players before the start of the season,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Wanderers were yet to decide which players to release this season.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Namwera said he was ready for the Nomads challenge after impressing for the relegated Wizards.<\/p>\n
\u201cI could not turn down a chance to join Wanderers because they are a big team. They also have young players just like myself.<\/p>\n
