{"id":16150,"date":"2016-01-11T08:23:44","date_gmt":"2016-01-11T06:23:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=16150"},"modified":"2016-01-11T08:23:44","modified_gmt":"2016-01-11T06:23:44","slug":"onesimus-in-africa-tour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/01\/11\/onesimus-in-africa-tour\/","title":{"rendered":"Onesimus in Africa tour"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>South Africa-based musician Onesimus has said that he will tour the African continent with his latest album titled <em>Epikaizo Volume 2. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Onesimus real name Armstrong Kalua confirmed on Sunday of the Africa tour saying the whole project is being driven by Prophetic Channel through what he dubs Onesimus Muzik.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am starting with Namibia on January 29 and then will proceed to Botswana, Swaziland and Lesotho in February and I will be in Zambia in March,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Onesimus, who used to do secular before he turned born again, could not indicate when he will be in the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt the moment I can\u2019t say when I will be home but my Public Relations team will communicate on that otherwise I am looking forward to the day I will perform in Malawi,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The album which was recorded in South Africa sold 10,000 copies during a recent event at FNB Stadium, according to Onesimus.<\/p>\n<p>The 14-track album among others features the song \u2018Miracle Money\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The musician described \u2018Miracle Money,\u2019 as a gift from God and that it was a demonstration of power from God to show his children that He can provide for them.<\/p>\n<p>However despite the music video receiving much praise for its quality pictures, sound and creativity, some quarters have hit at the musician saying his lyrical content in the song is praising Prophet Shepherd Bushiri instead of God.<\/p>\n<p>But Onesimus said God performs miracles through his servants and that in the song he is only honouring God\u2019s servant Prophet Bushiri who has the powers given by God to perform miracles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know the problem is not the concept of \u2018Miracle Money,\u2019 but people have a negative attitude towards my [spiritual] father Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and they fail to accept that he is a true man of God,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The singer said he loves Malawi and that he is looking forward to the day when people will understand the ways of God in \u201cthese end times.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am happy with the response the song has received and I hope it touches many souls to accept this anointing,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>In the song the message comes out that Onesimus is poor but then he receives the anointing through Prophet Bushiri after watching his preaching on TV and then his life finally changes as he moves out of poverty.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from \u2018Miracle Money,\u2019 the other songs currently on the ground include: \u2018Heavenly Defended,\u2019 and \u2018Looking for Somebody.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Onesimus has said <em>Epikaizo Volume 2 <\/em>is a continuation of the journey that Prophet Bushiri started after he released <em>Epikaizo Volume 1.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>South Africa-based musician Onesimus has said that he will tour the African continent with his latest album titled Epikaizo Volume 2.
