{"id":15939,"date":"2016-01-07T10:00:52","date_gmt":"2016-01-07T08:00:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=15939"},"modified":"2016-01-07T10:00:52","modified_gmt":"2016-01-07T08:00:52","slug":"arrested-over-human-bones","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/01\/07\/arrested-over-human-bones\/","title":{"rendered":"Arrested over human bones"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Police in Phalombe are keeping in custody three men and a woman for allegedly being found with eight human bones suspected to be of a person with albinism.<\/p>\n<p>A misguided myth has it that body tissue of people with albinism bring good luck.<\/p>\n<p>Phalombe Police Spokesperson, Augustus Nkhwazi has identified the four as a Mozambican national Petro Jezemani, 33, Starford Chimenya, 45, Kondwani Patrick, 38 and Rose Kumpama, 39.<\/p>\n<p>According to Nkhwazi, the four were arrested on Monday night following a tip off from members of the general public.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey were allegedly offering for sale the human bones to a businessman at Mitekete Trading Centre in the district. The businessman tipped us and we rushed to the scene where the four were arrested.
