{"id":15894,"date":"2016-01-07T08:54:26","date_gmt":"2016-01-07T06:54:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=15894"},"modified":"2016-01-07T08:54:26","modified_gmt":"2016-01-07T06:54:26","slug":"onesimus-epikaizo-volume-2-album-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/01\/07\/onesimus-epikaizo-volume-2-album-out\/","title":{"rendered":"Onesimus\u2019 \u2018Epikaizo Volume 2\u2019 album out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>South Africa-based gospel musician Onesimus real name Armstrong Kalua has said that his latest album titled <em>Epikaizo Volume 2 <\/em>is finally out.<\/p>\n<p>Onesimus said on Wednesday that <em>Epikaizo Volume 2 <\/em>is a continuation of a journey that his father Prophet Shepherd Bushiri started and that he released an album titled <em>Epikaizo volume 1<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The album which he said has songs done in Afro R&amp;B genre features among others the song titled \u2018Miracle Money,\u2019 which has attracted interest from many Malawians.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Miracle Money,\u2019 is a song which Onesimus has featured Prophet Shepherd Bushiri.<\/p>\n<p>He further said that the 14-track album is out and sold 10,000 copies at FNB Stadium recently.<\/p>\n<p>While the song has attracted mixed reaction from people, the musician who used to play secular before he turned born again, said \u2018Miracle Money,\u2019 is a gift from God.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a demonstration of power from God to show his children that He can provide for them the same way He did when He provided manna in those days,\u201d said the youthful musician once popular with hits such as \u2018Sinditha Kumvetsa.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Onesimus said the album has been recorded in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have taken time working on this album and I just want to thank every single person that supported my movement and may God bless them. It has taken me two years to produce the album,\u201d said the musician.<\/p>\n<p>He said despite other people criticising his song \u2018Miracle Money,\u2019 he was happy that 90 percent of people\u2019s comments said it was worth it.<\/p>\n<p>Onesimus said the album will be available on ITunes and he revealed that currently the song \u2018Miracle Money,\u2019 has sold 65,000 copies on ITunes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a big step for me and I hope to do more. The main aim is to take the message of God to the world,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He said he was targeting putting his music in some of the major selling outlets citing among others Pandora, Amazon, Spotify and Deezer.<\/p>\n<p>Having cancelled his tour of Southern Africa due to what he said was a busy schedule, Onesimus could not be drawn to say when he will perform in the country as well as launch the album.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I am ready and when my manager and PR arrange for Malawi I will come and perform,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The singer however, said he will tour with the album starting with Botswana.<\/p>\n<p>Recently rapper Gwamba also announced that he has turned born again.<\/p>\n<p>And Onesimus said Gwamba has always been part and parcel of the ministry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can\u2019t say much or comment on him but I am just happy that He has accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and saviour,\u201d said the musician.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>South Africa-based gospel musician Onesimus real name Armstrong Kalua has said that his latest album titled Epikaizo Volume 2 is finally out.
