TNM Super League giants, Be Forward Wanderers are confident of sealing permanent contracts for on-loan striker, Mohammed Sulumba and defender Ted Sumani from Blantyre United.<\/p>\n
Sulumba and Sumani joined Wanderers on a season-long loan deal following United\u2019s relegation from the Super League in 2014.<\/p>\n
United technical director, Lawson Nakoma, on Tuesday confirmed that discussions have commenced with Wanderers over the permanent deals of the two players.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey have written us requesting for a quote. Wanderers want the deal to be permanent,\u201d Nakoma said.<\/p>\n
He also said United executive committee will decide on the price this week.<\/p>\n
Wanderers\u2019 general secretary, Mike Butao, was on Monday elusive on the issue.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt the moment, I don\u2019t want to talk more on the issue, but let\u2019s talk next week,\u201d Butao said.<\/p>\n
Months ago, Sulumba sealed a move to Jomo Cosmos, but the deal hit a snag after the South African club released him.<\/p>\n
Sulumba started his Nomads career on a high note when he was a regular scorer in the early stages of the just-ended season.<\/p>\n
His form earned him Flames call-up and was part of the Malawi national team that won the Cosafa Plate Division section.<\/p>\n
Muhamad scored six goals in the 2015 TNM Super League and also helped Wanderers reach the Standard Bank Knock-Out Cup final when he netted the winner against Blue Eagles in the semi-final.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
