{"id":15798,"date":"2016-01-06T09:32:36","date_gmt":"2016-01-06T07:32:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=15798"},"modified":"2016-01-06T09:32:36","modified_gmt":"2016-01-06T07:32:36","slug":"bata-excited-at-winning-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2016\/01\/06\/bata-excited-at-winning-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Bata excited at winning award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bata Shoe Company says it is excited at winning the \u201cMost Improved Brand of the Year\u201d at the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Malawi annual Marketing Excellence Awards ceremony held in Blantyre in November last year.<\/p>\n<p>The company won the award after beating three other major companies nominated for the awards, namely TNM, Cooperate Graphics and Nissan Malawi.<\/p>\n<p>The company says on its international website that it emerged victorious due to its launch and consistent supply of popular brands such as Tomy Takkie, Toughees and the famous Juliana.<\/p>\n<p>The company also believes it was recognised for attracting new customers and maintaining its existing, loyal customer base.<\/p>\n<p>Bata Malawi import buyer, C himwemwe Mandalazi is quoted by the website as stating that the award was a great achievement for the company in the year 2015.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt shows us that we are on the right track and also it is an encouragement for the work we are doing.
