{"id":15078,"date":"2015-12-25T11:41:12","date_gmt":"2015-12-25T09:41:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=15078"},"modified":"2015-12-25T11:41:12","modified_gmt":"2015-12-25T09:41:12","slug":"micium-mhone-confident-of-impressing-in-sa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2015\/12\/25\/micium-mhone-confident-of-impressing-in-sa\/","title":{"rendered":"Micium Mhone confident of impressing in SA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Malawi national football team winger, Micium Mhone, is confident of rediscovering his form in South Africa where he is still finding his feet at Absa Premier League side, Jomo Cosmos.<\/p>\n<p>Mhone has since signing from Blue Eagles, a few months ago, played seven games, mostly as a substitute for the struggling Absa Premier League side.<\/p>\n<p>The versatile midfielder, who is back for a two-week breather over the festive period, told The Daily Times on Wednesday that injuries have slowed down his progress in Johannesburg.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI got injured while playing for the Flames in Swaziland, and it took time for me to get back to my feet at the club. I am happy that I am now able to play a full game,\u201d Mhone explained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNonetheless, I hope to get back to my peak form and impress. It is not tough playing in South Africa. It is just very small, small things such as organisation and preparation that make the South Africa league better.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mhone is also confident of playing a leading role in the Flames\u2019 pursuit of qualification to the Africa Cup of Nations, whose qualifiers resume next March.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI still believe we can qualify. All we need is to work hard and make use of home ground,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The Flames are third in group L with a point from two games after losing 2-1 to leaders, Zimbabwe and drawing 2-2 with second-placed Swaziland.<\/p>\n<p>Zimbabwe and Swaziland have four points each, whereas Guinea anchor the group with a point from two games.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Malawi national football team winger, Micium Mhone, is confident of rediscovering his form in South Africa where he is still finding his feet at Absa Premier League side, Jomo Cosmos.
