BE Forward Wanderers technical director (TD), Jack Chamangwana, says the Nomads intend to build on their victory over Dedza Young Soccer to finish strongly in the TNM Super League.<\/p>\n
Alfred Manyozo Jnr and Khumbo Ng\u2019ambi scored a goal each against Dedza as Wanderers registered a crucial 2-0 victory in their bid to finish among the top three teams in the league.<\/p>\n
Nomads now lie sixth on the table with 36 points from 25 games.<\/p>\n
Chamangwana, who started his tenure as TD poorly after the team collected two points from a possible nine, said they need to maintain the starting line-up that delivered the goods at Dedza Stadium.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne thing I noted that was contributing to poor results was inconsistency in the starting line-up. This is why we need to maintain the team that did well in Dedza to boost our chances of finishing strongly in the league,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Ng\u2019ambi was given a rare start and he partnered with Jabulani Linje upfront while midfielder Patrick Gunde also had an unusual start.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe also tried some combinations. We withdrew Ibrahim Sadick and pushed Stanley Sanudi to the right flank, while Enock Likwose came in at the back. We want players to shift positions easily so that we can change formation in course of the game,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Chamangwana, nevertheless, warned the players against complacency.<\/p>\n
