{"id":13277,"date":"2015-12-04T07:26:00","date_gmt":"2015-12-04T07:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=13277"},"modified":"2015-12-04T07:26:00","modified_gmt":"2015-12-04T07:26:00","slug":"paul-banda-to-perform-in-mzuzu-for-the-first-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2015\/12\/04\/paul-banda-to-perform-in-mzuzu-for-the-first-time\/","title":{"rendered":"Paul Banda to perform in Mzuzu for the first time"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Legendary musician Paul Banda will on Sunday perform at Mzuzu Tourist Lodge alongside Alleluya Band.<\/p>\n<p>The old-timer will be performing in Mzuzu for the first time-ever.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have never performed there since I started music and so this will be part of history and I can\u2019t wait to perform in front of the Mzuzu audience,\u201d said the singer and guitarist.<\/p>\n<p>Paul, a brother to Lucius, who is also another successful musician, said he was looking forward to giving out the best during the concert.<\/p>\n<p>As usual the veteran musician will be backed by Alleluya Band. Mzuzu Tourist Lodge Frontline Manager Reuben Msowoya confirmed the concert which he said is aimed at bringing families together.<\/p>\n<p>Msowoya said the show has been organised by Frank Phiri.<\/p>\n<p>According to Phiri, the show will feature other popular names such as Paul Subili, Coss Chiwalo, Charles Sinetre and Phungu Joseph Nkasa.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from offering the much needed entertainment to the people, the show is also aimed at preaching the word of God.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Legendary musician Paul Banda will on Sunday perform at Mzuzu Tourist Lodge alongside Alleluya Band.
