J<\/strong>amaican popular reggae group Morgan Heritage will perform in the country in December.<\/p>\n

Their performance in the country which is courtesy of Born Afrikan Productions comes following several reports in the past which tipped the group to perform in Malawi but nothing fruitful has come up.<\/p>\n

This will not be the first time for Born Afrikan Productions led by the country\u2019s South Africa based reggae musician Born Afrikan real name Nelson Shawa to bring Jamaican musicians to Malawi.<\/p>\n

They have already shown their prowess holding successful shows in Lilongwe for other Jamaican artists-Fantan Mojah and Luciano.<\/p>\n

The popular reggae group confirmed their performance in the country through a music video.<\/p>\n

\u201cMorgan Heritage is finally coming Christmas week 2015, December. Stay tuned to social media and will get all the information, we are coming,\u201d said the group\u2019s member Peetah Morgan alongside Memmalatel \u2018Mr Mojo\u2019 and Roy \u2018Gramps.\u2019<\/p>\n

Morgan Heritage is a reggae band formed in 1994 by five children of reggae artist Denroy Morgan, namely Peetah, Una, Roy \u201cGramps\u201d , Nakhamyah \u2018Lukes\u2019 and Memmalatel \u201cMr. Mojo\u201d.<\/p>\n

In two decades, the group has had a number of successful reggae albums.<\/p>\n

Born Afrikan, who visited the country recently patronising the Blantyre Arts Festival (BAF) said this was real and that Malawians should not miss out.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is real…don\u2019t miss out (another Born Afrikan Productions show, as you thinketh…Morgan Heritage December Malawi…ready or not,\u201d he said on his Facebook page.<\/p>\n

Born Afrikan met Morgan Heritage in Kenya but he said this was not his first meeting with the reggae group.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t meet them in Kenya, I came to meet them for now strictly on business talk because they had a show two weeks ago here and they are still chilling so I took the opportunity, flew this side to meet them and discuss business,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

When asked to shed more light on Morgan Heritage performance in Malawi, Born Afrikan said the video tells it all and that people should stop doubting.<\/p>\n

After meeting Morgan Heritage, Born Afrikan also met fellow local artist based in Kenya, Marco Sadik, who heaped praise on him for working things out, bringing to Malawi the Jamaican reggae group.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile another Jamaican artist Busy Signal, who is set to headline the Sunbird Sand Music Festival to be held at Sunbird Livingstonia in Salima, has also spoken of his performance in a video.<\/p>\n

There were several reports recently that the Jamaican musician had no idea of the Malawi show but only the Zimbabwe show on October 24.<\/p>\n

But finally Busy Signal famed for the hit \u2018Reggae Music Again,\u2019 tweeted that he would perform live in Malawi on October 31.<\/p>\n

In the video Busy Signal who also did free styles of his \u2018Reggae Music Again,\u2019 and \u2018Dreams of Better Days,\u2019 renditions said:<\/p>\n

\u201cBusy Signal is live in Malawi Saturday October 31, Sand Music Festival, everything set, I am gonna be there.\u201d<\/p>\n
