Musician Patience Namadingo is set to perform in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
“Yes its true, I will be performing in United Kingdom and Ireland in July. I will be performing live with my band and we have started the preparations,” Patience said.
The ‘Msati Mseke’ hit maker last Sunday performed at the inaugural Nyasa Music Festival held at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre, where he shared the stage with Faith Mussa and headliner South Africa’s star AKA.
“We will start the shows in Leeds, England, on July 6 and this is a red carpet event. After this event, we will head to Dublin, Ireland, for another performance on July 13,” he said.
He said, after Leeds, they will have a show in Manchester.
“The shows in the United Kingdom have been initiated by Malawi Association of UK and Leeds Association. In Ireland we will also have two shows before heading back home,” Patience said.
He said they are expected to leave the country on June 13 2019.
Last year, Patience performed in Germany with his band where he shared the stage with fellow Malawian artist Princess Chitsulo.
He also had time performing at the Fete de la Musique Festival in Hannover.
