By Bernard Mhone:

Moyale Barracks intend to recruit 10 players to strengthen the team so that it can withstand the heat in the 2019 TNM Super League Season.
Moyale Coach, Charles Kamanga, said they want to build a strong team comprising youthful and experienced campaigners. Some 20 players are undergoing trials with the club.
“So far, we have spotted seven players from the players who are undergoing trials with us and we are still eyeing three more players. Last season was pathetic for Moyale family because we did not win anything. But in the 2019 season, we must win a cup and finish on position three or two on the Super League log table. We are bringing back our morale,” Kamanga said.
Moyale were, until a few years ago, cup specialists but last season, they barely survived relegation after finishing on 13th position on the log table with 35 points.
The Mzuzu soldiers have recruited players such as former Mzuni FC midfielder Victor Gondwe, Wacheta Mwenifumbo from Dwangwa United and Davie Msukwa (Sanwecka Under-20 Football Club).
In a related development, Chitipa United mentor, Alex Ngwira, has said his team needs to beef up with experienced players.
To set the ball rolling, Chitipa have signed former Be Forward Wanderers striker, Khumbo Ng’ambi, Dalitso Khungwa, former Mzuni goalkeeper and Louis Richard from Maggie Chombo Academy.
