Musician Agorosso, real name Lloyd Phaundi, will come face to face with Mizu Band led by vocalists JJ and Eunice Kadzuwa Mhango at Jacaranda Cultural Centre (JCC), Mandala, in Blantyre tomorrow.

Manager Emmanuel Maliro said this is a live acoustic jam that will give fans a different feel.

“It’s a unique show and, having Agorosso and Mizu Band on the same stage, you expect nothing but a special dosage of music,” Maliro said.

He said Agorosso and Mizu Band have been preparing for the concert for some time and that they were prepared.

“Just to quote what reggae maestro Bob Marley said, one good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain. So to the fans, let’s meet at Jacaranda and enjoy some pure sound, original, clean and undiluted music from Agorosso,” Maliro said.

JCC deputy director, Daisy Belfield, said the centre would continue to give artists the platform for people to enjoy a variety of activities.

“This venue is open to all artists, last Saturday, we just launched an exhibition by Kungoni and we have had other performances as well. We want to remain vibrant but also attract all fans,” Belfield said.

Agorosso, who has not had a live performance for some time, called on people to come in large numbers and be part of the fun.
