TNM Super League giants, Nyasa Big Bullets and Silver Strikers, are happy with their preparations for the 2018 season.
The two teams engaged in a friendly at Silver Stadium on Sunday to help Misa-Malawi raise funds for the construction of an office complex in Lilongwe.
Bullets won the match 2-0, courtesy of Bright Munthali and Nelson Kangunje’s goals. Next weekend, Bullets date Kamuzu Barracks whereas Silver face Be Forward Wanderers in Charity Shield.
Silver Team Manager, Francis Songo, said his team was ready for the 2018 season.
“Our preparations are on track ahead of the new season,” Songo said.
Bullets Assistant Coach, Elia Kananji, said he was happy that his team won two games in Lilongwe over the weekend.
The People’s Team also beat Mafco 2-1 on Saturday.
“We played the games without our key players who were with the national team in Uganda. We are impressed with their performance and we know that there would be stiff competition for places in the team,” he said.
