Balaka-based group Alleluya Band has finalised its performances in Italy and are expected back on August 22.
One of the group’s members Mayamiko Taferakaso said on Thursday that it has been another successful outing where they performed in different places in Italy.
“We are through with the shows and all the shows were a success. We have held close to 32 shows. It’s always exciting performing here to different people flying Malawi’s flag,” Taferakaso said.
Alleluya Band performs in Italy every year and the shows are part of raising funds for different projects at Andiamo Campus in Balaka.
This year, apart from its tour in Italy, the band also had time to visit Jerusalem in June.
