Sangie on Friday made history in her music career when she launched her debut album Painless at Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe.
Sangie real name Angel Mbekeani, made her first single I Do It All For Love, in 2014 which received an overwhelming response. The singer, also known for the track ‘Ndangozizidwa’, said the album in which she has also featured other artists dwells on love and women.
Some of the songs in Painless include ‘Mkazi Wa Ngwiro’, featuring renowned poet Robert Chiwamba of the ‘Flames Sizamva’ fame, and ‘Pepa’ featuring Lulu. The launch was spiced up with performances from other artists including Lulu and Patience Namadingo.
