The organisers of the show featuring South African act Mafikizolo and Tay Grin at Bingu International Convention Centre in Lilongwe said yesterday that they were yet to count the money raised during the concert held on Friday.
The proceeds for the show will contribute to the construction of the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources Multi-purpose Centre. The show is said to have attracted an impressive audience and that Mafikizolo and Tay Grin put up great performances.
People were paying K25,000 on entry. The show was organised by South African business in partnership with the South African High Commission.
