Mulanje West Member of Parliament, Patricia Kaliati, has promised to help develop netball in her constituency.
Kaliati has of late been in the limelight following her involvement in football affairs in her constituency.
She has been inviting Super League sides such as Be Forward Wanderers and Blue Eagles.
She also hosted TNM Super League debutants Chitipa United when they went to play against Premier Bet Wizards and Blantyre United.
Last Thursday, Kaliati also invited Nyasa Big Bullets Reserve to play against Mulanje West Select.
However, Kaliati said next on her agenda is netball because she wanted to develop the sport in her constituency.
“Plans are underway to invite Tigresses and other top teams.
We will even invite top Malawi Queens’ players to play with our girls. We want to have strong teams and players in football and netball. We encourage top teams to scout for talent here,” she said.
