Enos Chatama to double roles at Big Bullets

by

Nyasa Big Bullets have appointed their former team manager, Enos Chatama, as Scout Director and reserve side Coach.

Bullets General Secretary, Albert Chigoga and Chatama confirmed the development Tuesday.

Chigoga said the Executive Committee approved the hiring of Chatama to serve in both roles.

He said they want the reserves to groom players for the senior team.

“At Bullets, we want to ease down on buying more players from other clubs. Buying six players every season is a non-starter because they don’t know the culture of the club. Look! Bullets only have Fischer Kondowe who came from the reserve side.

“You can appreciate how Fischer is dedicated. This is so because he was studying Bullets’ culture while at Banyamulenge [Bullets youth team]. So, it is true that Chatama will be in charge of scouting and coaching the reserve team in the Premier Division of the Southern Region Football Association.”

The Caf C-Licence holder has since promised to build a strong reserve team for Bullets.

“They approached me to take over the roles and I accepted. I will make sure that we have talented players that will play for the team for the next three to four years. I will work hand-in-hand with districts football authorities for easy identification of players.
