‘We are not decided on Kajive prize money’

The toughest part— winning the K2 million prize money in Kajive Season 3— is past them.

It is the softest part— making a decision on how to spend the loot they won on Saturday, courtesy of Times Television and Airtel— that is proving to be the toughest part.

“We will see how we will spend the money,” said Salim Pandor, one of M-Dubz Dope Crew’s members. The other members are Stuart Maunjiri, Gomezgani Mkandawire and Rocka Lanjesi.

Pandor, who was accompanied by their choreographer Super DT, said this yesterday when they visited Times Group offices in Blantyre.

On his part, Super DT said Saturday’s victory is the climax of the crew’s dedication to duty. He said when he met the group for the first time last year, he knew they had potential but he had no idea that glory would come so soon after their chance meeting.

“The first time we met, we were doing an advert for Illovo. They [M-Dubz Dope Crew] were a group, in the context that they were together, but they were not a group. What I did, as a choreographer, was to ensure that, whenever the group came up with a move, I had to ensure that we had proper costume and [I also had to ensure that] their moves met international standards.

“[As for the victory] I think this is because the group invested in training. We had intensive training and this has paid off,” Super DT said.
