On demand: Ma Blacks, Skeffa Chimoto

by

That is the number of times the Black Missionaries will be on the road in the next three days.

First to get a feel of the Chileka-based band are those who will patronise their show at Sunbird Livingstonia Beach Hotel in Salima from 8:30pm this evening.

Come Saturday, Ma Blacks— as the Black Missionaries are known — will be nowhere near Livingstonia Beach Hotel. In fact, they will be closer to the border with Mozambique than Lake Malawi.

This is because the band, featuring the usual suspects — Khonzie Masimbe, Yanjanani Chumbu, Anthony Makondetsa, Anjiru Fumulani, among others—will be at Motel Domwe near Dedza Border Post in Dedza District.

Again, Ma Blacks will perform from 8:30pm.

The last lap of Ma Blacks tour is at B-Square Open Theatre in Lumbadzi, Lilongwe. For a change this weekend, the show will start at 2pm till dusk engulfs that side of the Capital City.

One. Two.

That will be Skeffa Chimoto, who has two venues to grace tomorrow and on Sunday.

On Saturday, Skeffa will perform at Sangalala Leisure Centre in Mwanza from 8pm.

Also on song will be Dan Muyaya and Lenzoh Mshanga.

Fresh from Mwanza, Skeffa will travel to Blantyre City, where he, and The Real Sounds, will perform at Premier Lodge in Chileka. For a change the performance will start from 2pm.

Lenzo Mshanga and Dan Muyaya will also be on call.
