Samsung has a bountiful supply of recalled Galaxy Note 7 premium smartphones. What is it going to do with them? According to Sammobile, Samsung Electronics has started recycling the old Note 7s into a completely new device

Galaxy Note 7 which graced the electronics shop shelves in the fall of 2016, is in terms of its upholstery, undoubtedly gorgeous. Embellishing its usual out-of-this-world display, the Galaxy Note 7 will change its name.

The components are going to be used to make a completely different product. The Stylus is most probably going to miss from the new design but the 5.7 inch curved Almoled display, 12MP camera, main board, and the Snapdragon 820 c hip are going to feature in the new gadget.

Earlier last week Apple Inc. run into price fixing troubles in Russia. The Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service ruled that Apple forced its retail partners to sell iPhone 5S, 6, 6 Plus, 6S, and 6S Plus at fixed prices. Apple went further to police it’s 16 partners and would move fast to reprimand any partner who charged anything lower than accepted level.

As expected Apple initially protested the charges stating that the Russian resellers had the liberty to set their own prices. Later Apple came up with this statement: “We work hard to make the best products and services in the world for our customers and we are deeply committed to make sure that resellers are able to compete fairly in the markets they do business.”

While that does not accept wrongdoing, it seems to hint that Apple is a premium product and cannot go for a mass produced consumer product prices. Apple’s shagginess required its sellers to hold on to higher prices for three months.

Intel intensified its efforts to join the driverless car race with the acquisition of the Israeli Mobileye for a cool $15 billion. The Israeli tech powerhouse is an innovative dash cam solution for add-ons to vehicles that alert drivers of various dangers.

Microsoft announced that it would end support for Windows Vista on April 11, 2017. There will be no further updates after this date. C’mon Microsoft, be realistic, who wants Vista? Is this not the same OS that is heavy laden with bugs and incomplete features?

Microsoft, please, save our tears for better calamities.
