Following his recent resignation as Head Coach of Cape Town All Stars in the South Africa First Division, Patrick Mabedi has disclosed that he will join another team next month.

The former Flames captain was in the country attending a month-long Caf A Licence coaching course.

“About four teams are seeking my services, but since I was here, I never had time to discuss and agree on some terms. I hope to finalise everything by January. But right now, I cannot disclose the teams. I will come back to you when the deal is done,” Mabedi said.

The former Flames’ former assistant coach also said he will go for a team with a good offer and working conditions.

“I do not want a repeat of what happened at Cape Town. As a coach, I had to make decisions than working in an environment where I was not comfortable,” he added.

Apart from offers from the South African teams, Mabedi said he was ready for the Flames’ coaching job.

He said with the knowledge acquired from the course, Football Association of Malawi should not shun local coaches for the task.
