Bertha Nkhoma out with new album

Gospel singer Bertha Nkhoma Nyirenda famed for the song Driver Wanga is out with her eighth album titled Dziko Ndi Choncho.

The singer has been out of the scene for some time.

“I am ready with the new album. It’s taken me a big deal to finish the album because I did not want to compromise. Actually I want to make sure that everything is in place so basically the songs will start playing in January,” Nkhoma Nyirenda said.

She said the album has been recorded at Groove Magic Studio in Blantyre.

Nkhoma Nyirenda said the new album has 12 songs and that two of them; she has featured her child Madalitso.

The songs in the album are Lazaro Tauka, Adzionetsere, Lingalira, Umboni, Omukana Yesu, Mwini Chikondi, Kachikena, Amatikonda, Ngaka Yanga, Yesu Wanga and Zilibwino.

Her previous albums are Tembenuka, Mpulumutsi, Timuyamike, Driver Wanga,Choonadi Sichipheka and Ndikadzikhuthula.
