Local businessperson, Farook Mussa, will watch the English Premier League game between Manchester City and Middlesbrough this weekend, courtesy of Airtel Malawi.

Mussa, who heads Fam Group of Companies, earned the trip to the United Kingdom (UK) after Airtel Malawi rewarded him for using the most airtime worth K500,000 for three successive months.

Airtel’s Director (Customer Experience), Sibusiso Twea Nyasulu, said Mussa was an Airtel premier subscriber.

“Mr Mussa is an outstanding customer, his commitment and loyalty to Airtel is today being reciprocated from us as Airtel. This trip is a premier way to treat a remarkable premier customer,” she said.

Nyasulu said with a minimum usage of K30,000 worth of airtime one qualifies for the Airtel Premier Club, which has exclusive benefits.

She added that Mussa was given a return air ticket, accommodation and shuttle fees. He is expected to leave for the UK tomorrow.

Mussa, an Arsenal fan, said he was delighted to earn the trip.

“As a businessman running a group of companies and travelling extensively, I am always connected to follow up things. So, I leave my data open and I also make lots of calls,” he said.
