Pressure is mounting on Civo United’s Coach, Charles Manda, following Saturday’s 1-2 home loss to Be Forward Wanderers at Civo Stadium.
Since taking over from Millias Pofera, Manda has not won in the TNM Super League’s second round in five games.
In an interview on Sunday, Civo vice-General Secretary, Ronald Chiwaula, was puzzled by the team’s poor showing this season.
“I cannot understand what is happening to the team. I think something is wrong somewhere. We need an immediate solution to save our season because we are in the danger zone at the moment, ”Chiwaula said.
The defeat against Wanderers left Civo’s survival hopes slim.
Civo’s neighbours, Blue Eagles’ Coach, Deklerk Msakakuona, is also on the knife edge as the police team lost 2-1 to Red Lions at Zomba Community Ground. Eagles recovered to defeat Wizards 2-0 on Sunday at Kamuzu Stadium.
