Tnm has donated K385,000 towards the purchase of artificial limbs for Lovemore Mofolo who lost his limbs after he was attacked by a crocodile in Nsanje.
Speaking during the cheque presentation, TNM’s Senior Manager Consumer Services, Madalitso Jonazi, said TNM felt obliged to support Mofolo to purchase artificial limbs.
“As a truly Malawian company, we felt obliged to assist Mofolo with artificial limbs. Although he survived the attack, it left him without his arm and leg, and the story touched our hearts considering that the victim is the bread winner for the family,” Jonazi said.
Receiving the donation on behalf of Mofolo, the Women of Faith, a Bible reading group, thanked TNM for coming to Mofolo’s rescue.
