Moyale Barracks FC bank on Chilumba Barracks FC

As TNM Super League teams are beefing up their squads during this transfer window period, Moyale Barracks FC have revealed that they will bank on Chilumba Barracks FC’s players.

Moyale Team Manager, Dennis Mwale, on Thursday said they cannot buy players from other Super League and Premier Division teams as the Malawi Defence Force (MDF) policy restricts them from recruiting players that are not soldiers.

“After Chilumba withdrew their participation in the league, we spotted some players, however we had a problem because they withdrew on the 11th hour. We can now incorporate them for the second round so that we can accomplish our dream of being champions,” Mwale said.

He, however, refused to mention the targeted players’ names.

Chilumba Team Manager, Kazizwa Banda, confirmed that the two teams share players.

Moyale finished on position four with 27 points from the 15 games in the first round.
