Malawi Stock Exchange listed NBS Bank on Monday gave away cash prizes to three lucky student winners in the third draw of Nyumba Yanga promotion.
Miss Kumwenda, Vanessa Nyirenda and Maria Banda were the lucky students who walked away with K100,000, K150,000 and K200,000, respectively.
NBS’s Customer Services Manager, Tamanda Longwe, said the bank was overwhelmed with the response the promotion has received from customers.
“We are getting new entries every day and we have seen our deposits base being boosted through this promotion,” Longwe said.
To be eligible, one needs to be either a new or existing customer of NBS and deposit a minimum of K25,000 in their savings account to be maintain for a period of not less than one month.
Fixed deposit account holders are required to maintain a minimum deposit of K250,000 and maintain it for at least a month to qualify for the K20 million house or cash equivalent which will be given away as a grand prize.
