Ninety-two farmers have won various prizes in the sixth draw of the Standard Bank Mlimi Alilenji promotion.
The draw was conducted on Monday at Standard Bank Head Offices in Lilongwe.
In the last nine weeks of the promotion, Standard Bank has given out prizes to 92 farmer’s every fortnight.
The prizes include hessian sacks, baling jacks, T-shirts, caps and solar banks.
Head of Marketing at Standard Bank, Thoko Unyolo, said the promotion underscores the bank’s commitment to support Malawi’s agriculture sector.
“We have received over 7,000 entries so far and we would want to see more farmers winning in this promotion,” she said.
At the conclusion of the promotion, one lucky farmer will walk away with a grand prize of a tractor worth K16 million.
