The Medical Aid Society of Malawi (Masm) has entered into a partnership with Airtel which will allow Masm members to pay their subscriptions using the Airttel Money mobile platform.
Masm Chief Commercial Officer, Andrew Ngomwa, said through the partnership, Masm is seeking to increase payment points for its members. Much as we receive payments through our offices and commercial banks, members were having problems when the outlets were closed.
“Through Airtel money, members will be able to pay their subscription at any time of the day,” he said.
Ngomwa also said Masm is committed to provide Malawians with easy access to health care.
He said the partnership with Masm underscores Masm’s commitment to the achievement of that goal.
“To achieve this goal we had to find a trusted partner, which is Airtel Money. The service will obviously erase all the hassles our members faced,” said Ngomwa.
Airtel Money Country Director, Francis Matseketsa, said the partnership will transform the lives of Masm members .
“This partnership will provide the much needed convenience to Masm members who have Airtel Money accounts,” said Maseketsa.
