Three Malawian young artists Patrick Chimbewa, Asante Maulidi and Thokozani Mdoko, who flew the country’s flag at the Forde Traditional and World Music Festival in Norway through the Talent project 2016, are back in the country.
The three, who collaborated with fellow young artists from Norway and Kenya, said they learned a lot and that they would want to do more in terms of performing using traditional instruments.
The trio performed in Norway as Pakhonde Ensemble, which is a name they got from the Pakhonde Music Camp spearheaded by Music Crossroads Malawi.
