Musician Lucius Banda, popularly known as Soldier, through Sunbird Sand Music Festival has partnered with fellow musician Gwamba through his Better Energy Drink for the Jamaican musician Busy Signal show Slated for Civo Stadium in Lilongwe on August 27.

Both Gwamba and Lucius confirmed the partnership yesterday.

Gwamba as his team is planning for the official launch of Better Energy drink, they thought it wise to use the opportunity and partner with Lucius for the Busy Signal show.

“At the show we will have a table where people will come to taste the drink and give us feedback. I would like to thank Lucius for allowing a young Malawian like me to be associated with such a huge event,” he said.

Gwamba said, for so long, they have tried to approach companies but they have not trusted them.

“I would like to mention that this Friday (today) I am releasing my third gospel video Heaven which I have featured Classick and Emm Q,” he said.

Lucius said their partnership was not only for the Busy Signal show but rather it will go on until the Sunbird Sand Music Festival to be held on October 28 through to October 30.

“As a local festival we thought of partnering a local company and so we are excited. We are still working out things but tentatively I can confirm that we have the Busy Signal show in August slated for Civo Stadium,” said Lucius.

Busy Signal performed at the Sunbird Sand Music Festival last year where he impressed.

Lucius and team wanted to bring Busy Signal in April but the dates clashed with the Morgan Heritage concert.
