Blantyre-based accapella groups We Are One and Joyful Souls have teamed up to bring what they call One Soul concert.
The One Soul concert will be held at Comesa Hall in Blantyre on July 3.
One of the members of We Are One Steve Chiwaya said the One Soul concert will give people a chance to appreciate accapella music.
“This will be a whole afternoon of praising God with accapella pieces, and the two groups are geared to perform all their favourite songs,” said Chiwaya.
He said this will be a different and unique concert and that people should expect nothing but fireworks on the day.
“As I said we have come up with the concert to show to the people our God given talents and apart from praising God, this will be a platform where people will see the best in terms of accapella music,” he said.
Chiwaya also said that the concert will give the two groups time to perform for a long time.
“In most cases we perform with several other groups where we are restricted but now it’s only the two groups and so there will be more gospel vibes on the day,” he said.
Having shared the stage with other international acts, the two groups said they have learned a lot and that they would people to experience something different.
The two groups have recently shared the stage with South Africa’s Black Mambazo, Zimbabwe’s Shower Power and Durant from USA.
