Two US gospel artists Kei’Ana and Jadyn will perform in the country sharing the stage with Ethel Kamwendo Banda during an event dubbed In His Presence Night of Worship.
The event will be held at Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe on June 17.
Director of the event and Worship and Community Minister at Flood Church, Humphreys Mkandawire said yesterday that they were happy to have the presence of the two US artists as well as Kamwendo Banda.
According to Mkandawire, In His Presence Night of Worship is an event that has been organised by Flood Church in Lilongwe in collaboration with Live Love Malawi and Grove Church from USA.
“Grove Church is the one which has made it possible for the two US artists to be available at this event and it seeks to proclaim the splendor and the glory of God through worship and sharing of good news,” said Mkandawire.
Kei’Ana, Jadyn and Kamwendo Banda will perform at the event backed by Mafilika and Flood Band.
“Apart from worshipping the Lord through music, this event aims at creating an environment where people from all walks of life come and encounter the living God,” he said. Mkandawire added:
“We hope men and women who are hurting, searching, broken and even those who have a collision course will have time to experience the power of Jesus Christ. This is a free event and we encourage people to come in large numbers because we will have paying public transport.”
He said that they hold the event every three months.
