Former Malawi Queens shooter Connis Mhone has died.
Mhone has died in Lilongwe at Kamuzu Central Hospital on Monday after a short illness.
Mhone rose to prominence as a netballer in several local clubs but much more in the Malawi netball team, the Queens.
She was part of the team that first broke into the top five of world netball at Birmingham in the United Kingdom.
She recently was a coach for Civo Nets in Lilongwe.
