Malawi’s leading digital marketer, BizMalawi, has been awarded by the best digital marketer for 2015 by the Chartered Institute of Marketers (Malawi).
BizMalawi is a one stop online solution, which helps companies and individuals to find what they need within a market place.
The company’s General Manager Tarang Makhecha said BizMalawi thrives to put Malawi on the digital map of the world.
“BizMalawi is only eight months old on the Malawi market. However, Malawians have accepted the new concept very quickly and it gives us positive energy to move forward as Malawians have accepted this type of marketing,” said Makhecha.
He said the new system involves E-marketing through various social media such as Facebook and electronic mails.
Makhecha said E-marketing has several advantages that include increasing ones sales whilst reducing communication costs, generating new business contacts, creating brand awareness, retaining customers and providing targeted traffic to one’s site.
He further said BizMalawi will soon launch more digital mediums in many sectors.
“Malawians should expect more from us. We will be launching phase two of BizMalawi in the second quarter of 2016. We do not want to see the country being behind in terms of digital marketing,” he said.
